Tigers, a canyon and
a thousand years of stone
Everything worth the drive sits within an hour of the resort. Distances below are measured from our gate at Madla.
Khajuraho Temples
A UNESCO World Heritage site of Chandela-era temples carved between 950 and 1050 AD. Open sunrise to sunset — go in the morning light and be back for evening tea by the river.
Raneh Falls & Ken Gharial Sanctuary
Five kilometres of pink granite canyon carved by the Ken — India's own Grand Canyon. Best in the last light, with the gharial sanctuary on the same road.
Pandav Falls & Caves
A forest waterfall with Mahabharata-era caves. Ten minutes from the resort, so it fits easily into the gap between breakfast and the afternoon safari.
The Ken River
Boat rides, gharials, crocodiles and 200+ bird species — right outside the gate, beside the MP Tourism boating site. The river is the reason the animals come here.
Madla Gate, Core Zone
The reserve's main entry and the richest tiger terrain in Panna. First jeeps leave from a gate five minutes away, before the light gets hard and the forest goes quiet.
